Together, the artists have planned their projects worldwide since the 1960s. In Germany, the artist couple became popular especially through the wrapping of the Reichstag in Berlin in 1995. Jeanne-Claude and Christo had to work persistently for 23 years until the Reichstag in Berlin was wrapped.
